The Fuzzy Duck is the best locally owned coffee shop in Eastern Kentucky. Great food, vegetarian friendly and with a chic atmosphere, fast and friendly service. Grab you a new book at Coffeetreebooks and sit down and read it in the window or out on the terrace. Occasional live music and poetry/bookreadings. Highly suggested.

It happens only once in a blue moon that you walk into a place and instantly fall in love. Glad we stopped by here for a coffee break, on our way to Lexington. As we walked in through the double doors, we were pleasantly surprised to see the hustle bustle of Saturday morning, with a wide variety of selections from coffee , tea, smoothies , soft drinks, snacks , sandwiches even a burrito bowl. We had the s’mores cappuccino with the yummy cranberry nut muffin (one of the best we have had). Attracted by a wall decorated by mugs as we went further, little did we know that a bookstore lay behind ... almost like a speakeasy of books, with a variety of activities like knitting and story telling ... make sure you stop by here to enjoy all they have offer as you sip on amazing coffee !!!

Well, it was my first time ever there and they didnt have any Large Coffee cups, when your a coffee shop and don't have Large Coffee cups id say its poor management.

Great place to read or surf the web all the while sipping on some delicious coffee. Daily brews tasted great and come with a refill. The book store on the back has a wide range of items to choose from. Would definitely recommend stopping by for a drink and something to nibble on while relaxing in a cozy chair.

A good selection of healthy food and a nice place to spend some time working on a laptop or reading a book. I highly recommend the wraps, and all of the food tasted very fresh both times I've been there.

Great little coffee shop and book store.

The Fuzzy Duck is one of my favorite places in Morehead. Never disappoints! I make it a point to stop every time I’m in town. Very easy to spend hours in here. The coffee is great and super affordable compared to other coffee shops! The first time I came was with a friend last summer, and I was amazed when I discovered it was not only a coffee shop, but an entire bookstore as well! Great selection of books inside. The atmosphere is phenomenal. Would recommend to anyone living in Morehead or just passing through!

I love to come here with and without my children! The only problem I have is that you can get the same products online at a much cheaper price. Great selection of various types of books and I absolutely LOVE the coffee and food here.

Been going there for 2 years and the coffee is always prestine. Friendly staff is a big plus and prices are about moderate for coffee shops in Kentucky. Studying here is always nice too. The book store in the back only adds to the benefits

A whole world of coffee beans to buy, and delicious cups of coffee to drink on site, also, a whole wall of locally made ceramic mugs for purchase. I love mine, as it’s the perfect shape to hold in heat, and yet sturdy and pretty to look at.

This place is adorable. Customer service was great! There is a bookstore in the back which makes this a great coffee shop! Coffee is mostly good, but my first time getting coffee here so that might be why.

Love to support small businesses here in Morehead, especially when they're as great as this one. Great selection of books and various wares and good deal of community engagement through story time, groups, and such. My little ones have a hard time not touching everything but we do our best and staff is understanding and kind.

I only wish I could go there every day. This place serves the best light lunches and comfortable soups in all of town. On top of that, the service is pleasant and the owners won't shy from talking to you.

Best Coffee in town, which probably isn't really saying much considering they are the only coffee shop, but think twice before ordering pastries. The one time I ordered a cinnamon roll, it could have been used as a hockey puck 🏒. I swear the same one had been in the case for at lease three weeks. There was also a dead fly in the rim of the covered cookie platter. We mentioned it to the cashier, ordered our coffee, sat down drank coffee, talked for a while and as we left noticed the fly had not beem removed.

This is an eclectic gathering place. It's a bookstore with teas of all kinds, coffees, pasteries, breakfasts, lunches, sweet treats-It's all here, along with a delightful gifts for that special person. And, not to be overlooked, beautiful yarns and knitting and crocheting tools. Oh, also watch for special speakers, and entertainers who visit often and are free! There is an occasional open mic night for those who want to share their talents before a live and receptive audience. I would give it a full five stars if they offerred more organic, sugar/sweetener free food items.

Pay no attention to the famous chain coffeehouse nearby. The Fuzzy Duck has unsurpassed coffee, and their friendly staff make the visit extra pleasant. This charming shop is connected to a quiet bookstore (with an excellent selection of yarn!) where you may enjoy your coffee and catch up on the internet. Before you leave, consider leaving a gift ticket at the front of the shop for someone who could use a sweet surprise.
